GETTING STARTED

The application will take only 15 minutes to complete.  To complete the application you will need;

  • To be 18 – 27 years old
  • A good photograph
  • Names and email of two references

Grow in your character and gifting.

You will have the opportunity to grow in at least one of our focussed areas. The programme is as holistic as possible and will follow a head, heart, hand pattern; with every person developing in mind, spirit and body. Our teaching and training pathways are called ‘Streams’. We have three ‘Streams’ that will be running throughout the year, you can sign up for a stream when you are applying to come on the programme.

CATALYST has three terms and each applicant has the opportunity to begin their year training at the start of any one of the terms: We offer a whole year course or a Summer School which runs from June to September.

The Catalyst week will include field training in the following areas. Hospitality, working within a team, teaching sessions, social action placements, community application, connect groups, mission trips and fundraising. This will be delivered through a mixture of teaching, practical service and engaging in community activities.

WHAT IS THE CATALYST PROGRAMME?

The Catalyst Programme is a fieldwork discipleship training course at Ashburnham Place. Trainees (usually between the ages of 18-27yrs) from all over the world are invited to take part in this course for a year alongside our long-term community members. Need More Information..

What is graduation?

After the completion of the programme you will graduate with a meal and performance – an opportunity to celebrate, receive certifications and present to the community in the form of a talk, performance, or display.

Do you have Accreditation?

When a trainee completes their course, we will have a graduation ceremony, meal and performance – an opportunity to celebrate, receive certifications and present to the community in the form of a talk, performance, or display.

What is CATALYST GO!

We will have an annual external mission month – where all catalyst members will  have the opportunity to go on a mission trip – local, national or international. Trips have included Madagascar, France, South Korea and closer to home; Manchester, Birmingham… Please check our website for details on the mission trips. Depending on which trip you would like to take, we may ask you to bring some money towards your trip before you arrive. We will be doing fundraising together as part of the course too. More info…

CATALYST GO!!

As part of Catalyst we will have a ‘mission’ month where all Catalyst members will have the opportunity to go on a ‘mission’ trip within UK, Europe or Wordwide. Trips may include Madagascar, France, South Korea and closer to home; Manchester, Birmingham.

Depending on which trip you take, you will have to finance part of the trip before you arrive. The amount you have to pay will depend on the location you choose for your mission. UK £100, Europe £200 and Worldwide trip £500
